The newly opened BJ’s Wholesale Club in Sevierville, Tennessee was packed with people from the very first moment of the grand opening. The moment I stepped inside, I saw that the club had officially just opened. As soon as I walked in, it became clear that this tour would be very helpful for anyone wondering whether they should get a membership here or simply want to know what the inside looks like. The store hours are from 8 AM to 9 PM, and on Sundays from 8 AM to 8 PM. Since I already had my own membership, I just showed the QR code on the app and went right in. Those who don’t have one can choose between two types of memberships.

Membership

Right after entering BJ’s, you’ll see the membership desk. Because of the new opening, their membership prices were lower, and there was a big offer—get a free turkey with a $150 purchase. This offer made the line even longer on opening day. I also noticed the convenience of Express Pay through the app, which allows you to check out quickly; at the exit, the checker simply scans and lets you go.
Entering the Store
The first thing that grabbed my attention was the massive TV section.

Rows of bright screens lit up the entrance, creating an immediate sense of energy. Right beside them were different computers and monitors,

complete with keyboards and mice. As I walked further, I saw safes & furniture,

along with printers, karaoke machines, accessories and games—basically everything you could need for a tech-filled home setup.
Next to them sat neatly organized iPads & laptops,

laid out in a way that made it easy to try them in person. Beyond the tech area was a stylish seasonal apparel corner featuring sweaters and hoodies labeled as Fashion Alert.

And right there, like a time capsule from the past, was an Atari unit, giving off pure nostalgia.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Christmas decorations area glittered with trees,

lights, ornaments, and inflatables—perfect for the holiday season.
Home & Living Experience
Moving toward the center aisles, I found kitchen items lined up perfectly—silverware, pots, Ninja appliances, Instant Pots, and more. Nearby were large mattresses and displays of Water machines and refrigerators.
While exploring the essentials aisle, I picked up a big bag of salt, noticing how low the price was compared to recent rises. Household cleaners filled several aisles with a variety of popular brands.
The pet aisle had fresh dog food

and big bags of dry kibble stacked high. As I continued walking, I came across the paper goods section with big packs of Bounty and Charmin.
Drinks, Water & Juices
This part of the store was busy with shoppers grabbing different beverages. Shelves were full of Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, big cases of Diet Coke, and Pepsi products. The water aisle was packed with large cases perfect for families.
There were also shelves of coconut water, apple juice, lemonade, organic mango drinks, organic apple juice, and Honest juice boxes—great options for people looking for healthier choices.
Nearby, pre-made little snack boxes were arranged for quick grab-and-go convenience.
Bakery – Full of Colors & Fresh Smells

One of my favorite areas was the bakery section. The first thing that caught my eye? Rainbow bagels

bright, colorful, and fun. Right beside them were hot dog buns,

Dave’s killer buns,

sourdough bread,

and the popular Dave’s killer bread bagels.

For those avoiding gluten, there were gluten-free Mission tortillas.

Further down the bakery shelves were donuts, danishes, sweet little breads, pretzels,

and classic pies. Pumpkin pie,

sweet potato pie, pecan pie, and apple pies filled the air with a warm, sweet aroma. On another table, there were large packs of muffins,

perfect for kids’ breakfasts or weekend treats.
Fresh Produce & Deli Meals
The fresh produce area was full of vibrant colors, with tomatoes, potatoes and onions stacked high. Organic lettuce

was neatly packaged, and baby cut carrots were available at a great price.
Then came the deli section—featuring pre-made potato salad, mashed potatoes, prepackaged ravioli, cheeses, and display trays of freshmade meals. Beyond that were different types of meat,

including chicken, pork, beef, turkey, salmon, and more.
I saw the giant sandwich ring, chicken pot pies,

Chicken enchiladas,

grilled Italian chicken,

teriyak chicken and pasta.

Nearby were cases full of fish, salmon, seafood, pork,

and beef.

The dairy aisle stocked eggs and milk along with cheeses and yogurt.
Frozen aisles had lobster, frozen wings, ice cream, vegetables, and other family meals.
Snacks, Sauces & Pantry Favorites
Walking through the center aisles, I saw crackers, spices, and Nacho Libre–style snacks. There were bottles of Chick-fil-A sauce, jars of organic medium sauce, boxes of Ghirardelli triple chocolate cookie mix, and large bottles of organic olive oil.
In the personal care aisles, there were shampoos, conditioners, soaps, candles, and lots of gift cards for restaurants and entertainment.
Fun Spots – Games & Clothing
One of the most fun areas featured arcade games. Mortal Kombat and Paperboy were running on display units, and it was impossible not to stop and play for a moment. Nearby, garden type items were arranged, likely to be swapped for seasonal products later.
In the clothing aisles, shoes, socks and underwear were displayed for adults and kids—affordable and practical options for families.
Checkout & Snack Shop
The easiest part of the entire trip was using express pay.

I scanned the Rainbow Bagels on the app and walked straight to the Express Lane. A quick scan from the staff, and I was out—no waiting, no hassle.
Right outside the checkout area was the snack shop. The snack shop menu

included a hot dog and drink combo for just $1.50, pretzels, giant popcorn, and large cookies. Since it was opening day, the place was buzzing.
Final Thoughts
After exploring the entire BJ’s Wholesale Club, I felt it truly offered a complete family shopping experience. Costco is still my personal favorite, but BJ’s comes very close in second place. With fresh bakery items, organic produce, huge product variety, express checkout, and cheap gas, this brand-new BJ’s in Sevierville is absolutely a valuable addition for local shoppers.
