The Gate House shop sets the tone right away. A tall Christmas tree, glowing lights, holiday merch—it instantly pulls you into the season.

A deep-green Christmas hoodie featuring the outline of Biltmore House immediately caught our attention.

A beautiful mini-winery section showcased Biltmore’s signature wines.

Rustic Christmas décor, nativity sets, and charming miniature Christmas villages filled the shelves and added warmth to the shop.
After browsing, we continued toward our Candlelight Christmas experience.

- Candlelight Christmas & House Tickets start at $150, while regular House & Grounds tickets start at $130, with discounts for ages 16 & under.
- All tickets include 8,000 acres of grounds access, Antler Hill Village & Winery, complimentary wine tasting, and free parking, with day access available either the same day or the day after your evening visit.
- Annual Pass is discounted to $209 (save $90 through December 31), offering year-round access and extra perks.
We had pre-booked our tickets online, but the booth was open for on-site purchases as well.

As night fell, we walked toward the house. The candle-lit pathway, cool winter air, and soft glow ahead created a dramatic and elegant entrance.

Watching the tree show while sharing a turkey and brie sandwich became one of the most memorable moments of the night.

A gazebo decorated for Christmas with two iconic lion statues offered a classic holiday photo opportunity.
Tunnel to Winery

Although the tunnel to the winery was closed during this visit, previous experiences reminded us of its beautiful light-filled walkway during the season.
Morning After – Breakfast & Final Walk
The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast at The Inn.

After breakfast, we explored a few more shops and took another relaxing walk through the estate.
