From Gatlinburg to Sevierville – A New Beginning

Owners Denny and Kelly Delauder have been serving food in Gatlinburg for nearly 10 years. After a decade of success, they decided to move to Sevierville for a fresh start and a bigger kitchen.
They faced a few challenges at their old location, but saw it as an opportunity to grow. Now, they’re bringing their award-winning barbecue to a new crowd — with even more space to serve.

Delauder’s BBQ Menu

Right now, Delauder’s BBQ is in its soft-opening phase, and even this limited menu packs plenty of flavor.

Here’s what’s cooking:

  • Pulled Pork Sandwich
  • Brisket Sandwich
  • Ribs
  • Sausage
  • Loaded Baked Potato / Smoky Mountain Potato

For couples or families, the Dinner for Two platter includes ribs, pulled pork, three sides, and two buns.

The sides deserve just as much love:

  • Coleslaw: Crisp, sweet, and tangy, balancing every bite.

They currently don’t serve fried items (no fries or okra) because of the high cost of installing a vent hood. But outdoor “Burger Nights” are in the works, where they’ll set up fryers outside for special events.

Hours & Hospitality

Right now, Delauder’s BBQ is open:
Thursday – Sunday, 11 AM to 7 PM

Eventually, they hope to open seven days a week.

They also offer military and local discounts — something rare and appreciated. A typical meal, like Our three-meat platter, totaled around $34.76 after tax, including a $3.52 discount.

A Cozy Space Filled with Flavor

four tables

The dining area is small but welcoming — just four tables, a drink station, and a few outdoor seats. Inside, the aroma of smoked meats lingers in the air while locals sip sweet tea and chat like old friends.
It’s casual, it’s warm, and it feels a lot like being invited into someone’s home for dinner.

Ranked #7 in North America – and It Shows!

One thing Denny takes pride in is that Delauder’s BBQ was once ranked #7 among all barbecue restaurants in North America on Yelp — not just in the U.S., but across the entire continent.

That kind of recognition doesn’t come by luck. It comes from years of dedication, consistency, and passion for barbecue done right.

The Barbecue Experience – Tender, Tangy, and Full of Love

Every bite at Delauder’s BBQ tells a story of patience and smoke.

The Ribs fall right off the bone, leaving behind that irresistible smoky aftertaste.

The Brisket doesn’t need a knife; it flakes apart with a fork and pairs beautifully with their house-made sauce.

And the sides?

Potato Salad feels like a warm memory — creamy and comforting.

Green Beans come buttery and full of flavor.
Baked Beans carry a smoky sweetness, while Coleslaw adds that refreshing crunch every barbecue plate needs.

As Denny says,

“We put love into everything we make.”

And it truly shows — every bite feels personal.

Nothing here is rushed. Every brisket and rib gets the time it deserves to soak in the smoke and flavor.

Every inch of the restaurant tells a story — from the handwritten messages on the walls to the owners greeting guests at their tables.
It’s a small-town spot that thrives on connection. Kelly and Denny treat each customer like an old friend, checking in with genuine care.
