A Room for Everyone — Comfort Meets Convenience
Whether you’re traveling with small kids, teenagers, or just your partner, Greystone Lodge offers a room designed just for your needs. The Two Room Family Suite, for example, is a true lifesaver for parents. It comfortably sleeps five, with a cozy king or queen bed plus a bunk bed that the kids will love. The little balcony overlooking the river? Perfect for morning coffee while soaking in peaceful views of the water and trees.
What’s really nice is the room feels so functional — it has everything you need, from a luggage rack and ironing board to a TV for movie nights and a little ottoman perfect for putting your feet up. Plus, the kitchen area has all the essentials so you can whip up a quick breakfast or midnight snack — coffee maker with their own special Smoky Mountains blend, microwave, mini fridge stocked with water, and even an ice bucket. It’s little touches like these that make life easy when you’re traveling.
If you prefer something a bit more upscale, their King Executive Deluxe rooms are wonderfully spacious and come with a soaking tub that’s just right for a relaxing soak after a day hiking or exploring downtown Gatlinburg. Amenities that Feel Like an Upgrade-Fitness Center

One thing I loved about Greystone Lodge was how they’ve thought of everything. The outdoor pool is a standout, open until 11 PM, which gave us plenty of time to take a refreshing dip after a day out. It’s got a fun water slide and a nice shallow area for little kids or those just wanting to splash around gently. The water temp isn’t too hot or cold, just comfortable—a little slice of heaven.
And for anyone wanting to keep up their workout routine, the 24-hour fitness room is well-equipped and convenient. I saw treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and free weights — so no excuses for missing your morning jog or afternoon stretching.
Need to catch up on laundry or emails? They have you covered with self-serve machines and a business center where you can grab a hot coffee and settle in for a bit.
Rise and Shine with a Breakfast That Hits the Spot
Breakfast is something many travelers overlook — but at Greystone, it’s a real highlight. Served from 7 to 10 AM, you get a solid spread of both hot and cold options. I’m talking fluffy scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and oatmeal with plenty of toppings. But there’s also fresh fruit, yogurt, and a tempting selection of cereals like Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran for the kids.
If you’re more of a bagel and cream cheese person (like me), or a doughnut hole fan, you’re in luck — it’s all there. And the juices? Orange, apple, cranberry — plenty to quench your thirst and fuel your day of adventure.
Tasty Bites and Fun Drinks at Taco Trail Taqueria + Bar

After a day, Taco Trail becomes a favorite spot to unwind. The vibe is casual and friendly, with some inventive tacos and burritos on the menu. One must-try is their famous Hiker Trash Nachos — a large plate piled high with chips, cheese, and toppings. We even added seasoned beef to ours, which made it even more satisfying.
And if you appreciate a good margarita, they’ve got a whole selection for just $6 each — perfect to toast your day in the Smokies. Cozy up in the bar area or grab a seat on their outdoor patio to soak in the fresh mountain air.
Sweet Treats and Sports at Blue Moose

Just a short stroll away is Blue Moose, a local favorite known for its friendly atmosphere and amazing desserts. Their chocolate peanut butter pie is something to write home about — so rich and indulgent, with a perfect balance of peanut butter, vanilla ice cream, and fudge.
What makes Blue Moose special is that they have TVs everywhere. So if you’re into catching a game while you enjoy your dessert, this is the place to be.
Explore the Wonders Right Outside Your Door- Aquarium

One of the biggest perks of staying at Greystone is how close everything is. Just a short walk from the lodge is Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies — a favorite for families. You can expect to be wowed by hundreds of fascinating marine creatures including playful penguins, graceful rays, gentle sea turtles, and even some sharks swimming just overhead in the aquarium’s amazing underwater tunnel.
It’s an interactive experience with touch pools and educational programs that both kids and adults appreciate. It’s the kind of outing that adds just the right blend of fun and learning to your trip.
For outdoor lovers, Great Smoky Mountains National Park awaits just a short drive away with countless trails, breathtaking views, and opportunities for wildlife spotting.
